I received an e-galley of this book from NetGalley in exchange for an honest review.

I loved the premise of this book, I really did. While I enjoyed some chapters, others I struggled with and I found myself wanting more. The story felt a bit flat as Dana hopped from house to house. Some of the experiences were interesting, some were quirky, but there wasn't much movement in the plot - and then her time at a house abruptly ended, and she was on to the next.

Some of the characters were really fun and had great possibilities, but then the story didn't quite go anywhere - and then, it was over. I wasn't as quite emotionally involved as I really wanted to be. I think more editorial involvement would take this book from good to great, as it has a lot of potential.

It's a light, easy beach read.… (altro)

Well first I would just like to state This was a wonderful christmas read as I got it on Christmas eve. Second this was refreshing to read since I am planing my own wedding on a budget. This book really shows how crazy & spoiled some brides can be. (But what people need to remember in my opinion. Yes it is your day but all you really need that day is your better half & your family. Not Millions of dollars and a big puffy dress you will only wear once.) Anyways this book was quirky. And I love the detail given from the author about all of the weddings.Each wedding was different which really made me enjoy it more. Overall this book is a wonderful read for the up and coming wife. Or even just a romance/drama book fan. Note this is not a book for everyone. And it has made me appreciate my budget planning more & to not get annoyed with everyone while doing so.… (altro)
