This was not for me. It was written and edited well but not my "cuppa". I wanted Jack to cut Maia loose so many times!!! The best part of the book was when I thought he had come to his senses....not to be. I skimmed the last 20%. I just don't enjoy a romance where the female lead is trying to be "one of the guys". Jack was alpha yummy but he sure deserved better than Maia!

Be ready for plenty of drama, secrets, mystery, suspense, deadly gangsters, twists and turns, lies, and deceits, as these ex-spouses come back together in this second chance story with some well-developed characters that will keep the reader turning the pages. To see what this is all about, as we find Gabby is an LAPD detective on the gangs & homicide team...you will have to pick up the good read to see what happens when Declan, Gabby's first ex-husband, comes back to town after 17 years later.… (altro)

I was pleasantly surprised by this book. From the first few pages, I was sucked in. Strong characters and story. It wasn't until the end when everything was coming to a head that it lost some of the luster. I wanted it expanded on because a lot was left out.

This book was a roller coaster ride. There's a lot of intrigue and plots on top of schemes because of the world Luca and Natalya live in. It's one of those stories you can't put down.
