The Basic Earth Science Syllabus gives 36 weekly lessons in astronomy, the solar system, Earth's crust, atmosphere, weather, climate, oceans, resources, and issues relating to human and animal life on Earth. Opportunities for working in the scientific method, observation, and a variety of hands-on project choices are provided.

This one's a slim collection of native American legends published by the Oak Meadow curriculum people. It's an enjoyable read, quite suitable as waiting room material. It's lacking any sort of background info, such as which people originally told these tales, but that fits in with the Oak Meadow style of engaging the child first and then returning to the subject matter later for the details.
