"Rent A Bae" by Unoma Nwankwor

Intriguing Read:
"Rent A Bae" was a sweet romance as we find Jasmine and Arinze starting with faking this idea, but what will happen when things change between them? Will Arinze's grandmother get her wish? Yes, problems will come up, but with the help of Jamsine's friend, Aubree, and Arinez's cousins, things will shape up, especially after their trip to Nigeria. This author gave us an actual cultural visit to her African country, especially in Nigeria. The places Arinze took Jasmine to were lovely. The blending of the two countries was beautiful.
We find the one thing Arinze asked Jasmine not to do to him...well, she did. Will they be able to work past that situation? This is where you must pick up this well-written, good read that the author gives the reader. Will there be a HEA? You will have to see how it all turns out.
With this 'Away To Africa' being a series, we will get to learn more about Arinze's other two cousins, so let's get ready for more of this Kalu Family.… (altro)

My Assessment:

'Destiny Fulfilled' was quite a journey for Zaina and Mustafa as they processed what true love involved. With Mustafa being an alpha and Zaina, oh yes...being 'I am woman, hear me roar,' how will these two make it without getting some help? For Mustafa, he finally gets counseling from the minister, and Zaina was listening to her friend's advice...but will this work? This author reveals just how vital trauma can be in a person's life, and it is good when one sees they need some help.

I will say Zaina got on my nerves somewhat in how she processed things in her life. I kept wondering whether she learned anything from her past mistakes. So yes, this story will involve: 'love, romance, humor, lots of drama, and lessons learned.

As the story continues, will things fall in line as the reader is given an engaging and intriguing story that will keep one turning the pages till the end to see if these two will get their HEA? To find out, you will have to pick up this well-written story and say how well this author delivers it to the reader.… (altro)

My Speculation:

Hakeem had broken Mariama's heart, and she held on to a secret that greatly will affect him when he finds out. Even though she had tried to get in touch with Hakeem after they broke up, she really should have taken care of this important matter. Will it come back to bit her? Well, yes, especially when they meet up again many years later? Hakeem did get on my nerve at some point because he had made many errors out of all of this mess they were now into. Thank God he had some friends that gave him some good advice. Will they be able to pick up the pieces and go on with there life? This is where I say you will have to pick up 'Second Shot' to see if there will be a second chance for Mariama and Hakeem.… (altro)

My Speculation:

I enjoyed this sweet well written and short romance of Darius Gray and Safiya Nadar. We are entertained with some developed and defined characters that help make the story quite interesting. I loved how these two could finally find the love that wasn't really on their minds when the first meeting. Will this be a marriage of convenience, or will it turn into something more? I do like how the reader can see how important communication is in any relationship. You will have to pick up this novel to see how sweet and intriguing the story was presented to the reader.… (altro)
