I'm continually impressed with this series -- in this installments Sadiq manages to celebrate both recent immigrant cultures and kids who have lost touch with their heritage

This series still works for me -- Sadiq wants to learn an instrument., borrows Hooyo's drum without permission, and makes a new deaf friend. It's charming and the characters are great.

Cute, inclusive, and educational. Includes background info, discussion prompts, a glossary, and instructions to make a telescope.
