Not only are Carter and Elly both fabulous, I love books that feature a group of friends like this! It was kind of frustrating that it took Carter and Elly so long to get together, but it was a great story and I can't wait to read the rest of the series. If only I hadn't discovered the series before they were all written. I hate it when that happens...

Oh, yeah...you'll need a box of tissues to get through this one.

So far I have only read LUCKY by J.M. Darhower. This author does organized crime like no one else. She always knows how to hook me.

Lucky is about a girl with a mobster father who has agreed to an arranged marriage for her in order to join two mafia families. She's not elated about this plan; so, tonight she's heading out for one last hurrah. Girl definitely sows some wild oats. Great prequel! And that ending left me very excited for the upcoming Twenty to Life.

Wanted by You (Love in the City, #1) di Steph Nuss

Loved everything about this book. The story was excellent and the plot was well thought out. The twist toward the end was such a shock and totally unexpected. From there on in I just couldn't put the book down. I had to find out whether everything was going to turn out for the better or not.

Carter and Elle (Ellyson) were just beautiful together. Really came across as a real couple, with real struggles in a real world. Nothing in life is ever easy, esspecially love. Yet Carter and Elle proved that it is worth fight for.

I can't wait to read more from this series and discover more about the other characters from this book.… (altro)

Fantasized by You (Love in the City, #2) di Steph Nuss

Although this is a new story in the love in the city series, I liked how it continued on from the end of the first one, however just from the view of a new couple coming together. Carter and Elle, along with everything else from the first book are back and are getting ready for the wedding.

However along the way Maverick and Harper are discovering love and what it means to finally find the one. Again I was sucked into the story and the characters. I love them all. Also another hidden twist at the end. I don't normally like these, but for some reason they work here. Bring it on!

Another job well done by Steph and a good lead into the next one in the series. I liked how that was just quietly put in there. Nice one :)… (altro)
