The hunter and the hunted lacked authenticity. The characters were poorly developed. The pace was good. The Australian setting was interesting because it is not familiar to me. The plot was also interesting because it was made unbelievable by the gung ho detective and twisted criminal. The violence seemed the most real. All in all, this was an absorbing read.

The Bodies We Won’t Bury. Daniel Norrish. (Love is Dangerous I). I should have known when I saw that this is a series, that I’d be unhappy with it. It ends leaving you hanging just like a Flash Gordon episode we used to see at the summer movie session at the Bama Theater in Tuscaloosa. What I want in a series is a complete novel within itself, not a juvenile cliff hanger. Anyway, a hideous serial murderer is loose in Sidney. Australia. The setting is interesting and the lead police officer is a real character. She is bright and attractive and intuitive. The murderer kills couples by torturing them in despicable ways and then burns them. He is a real sick one. Not for the weak. Kindle trash.… (altro)

I have never read a book written in a second person point of view. It's unique to say the least. Of course if it isn't your cup of tea a third person perspective is also available. I read the chose not to read the later, but skimmed through it.

If you are looking for something a little different - this is for you. A good story is included.

Full points for originality on this one! Written from multiple points of view - all criminals and dead. I had to keep the pages turning to see where they were going! Love the twist ending!
