This was one of the most enjoyable books that I have read in quite a while. I love reading about people who go out in nature and talk about their treks. And Tony does just that.
He is a teacher of survival skills out in the bush or what they call bushcraft. Each story that he tells has some sort of lesson involved and it's laced with humor and insight--what you should and shouldn't do. This is not a book that will teach you like some books out there try to do. It tells you what can happen and has happened in the groups that he teaches.
