This balanced, well-documented critical investigation into the treatment of cancer discloses how the cancer establishments of research institutions, hospitals, medical associations, government agencies, foundations and large corporations often work in such a way that inadequate measures are taken and important possibilities are left unexplored.

This book came on my path. I do not have cancer (yet) but half of my family of 6 did or has and one died.
Now I also know that people or books that tell you you should only trust non toxix treatment are very dangerous.
Here in my country a few years ago a very beloved tv presenter died. Then we heard she had been under the influence of a so called "psychic called "Jomanda" and other alternative healers. One who "helped" her by only giving her paracetamol and let her live in his house. That was until she was on the verge of dying and only then she visited the hospital but then it was too late.

That being said I also think not all alternative treatment does not help so I am curious and for only 1.50 euro perhaps an interesting read.

This book asserts that there are non-toxic treatments for cancer that are both safe and effective. That they are “rigorously documented” in “standard peer-reviewed scientific literature.” It backs up the latter claim by providing references to those studies. It discusses those studies. Its aim is to combat the “fallacious argument” that non-toxic methods do not conform to rules of good science, and to provide readers interested in cancer with useful information on cancer alternatives. The studies sometimes contradict one another. Some are of questionable validity, having been funded by vested interests. But many have plausibility.

In separate chapters this book discusses various vitamins, minerals, herbs, diets, therapies, etc., their positves and negatives as related to cancer. It draws some conclusions, but leaves most conclusions to readers. I cannot say whether any one of these methods is effective against cancer, but this is an interesting read for anyone interested in cancer, nutrition, or biochemistry.

It is important that this book be read in a holistic frame of mind and put to use within an integrated holistic program. Because these individual chapters are only parts of a whole. Applied in isolation, they can cause dangerous imbalances.

There is a section on “immune boosters,” but how do they work? They all seem to be toxic. Some are vaccines. We know that toxic substances provoke immune responses. Is that how these “boosters” work? Provoking the immune system is not the same as boosting it, or is it? The stimulation of Natural Killer cells or antibodies may not be a good thing. It might be the body’s way of resisting the medicine, not the disease.
