An unusual but really good story about a boy who has always wanted to fly, and then discovers that he is actually a guardian angel. Well worth reading.

Not bad for a Young Adult Christian Fiction. It's actually very adventurous and kept me on the edge of my seat, finished 80% of it in one day. It reminds me of those books where someone has to journey somewhere and there were many trials ahead of him. The characters are interesting, it makes me think about what setbacks I have in life, and that I should try to get past it just like the characters. The author worked as a writer in Hollywood, and it shows. She knows just how to keep your attention focused on the book. This book is good enough that I purchased the sequel just to see what's next is in store for the character.

This book is about a young guardian angel fulfilling his destiny. He also met some friends who are just like him. He has to wrestle between the real world and the in between world and fight demons of hell.

For some reason, I keep winding up with books that are part of a series- and I land someplace in the center or end of it all! I really don't like that, but this book was good enough to help me along without feeling too lost.

The story's summary says everything Vero has trained for in the Ether has led to this. In the third and final book of Laurice E. Molinari s Ether series, the young guardian angel Vero is given the quest of locating the Book of Raziel which was lost when Adam was forced to leave the garden of Eden. And not even Raziel himself knows where the book is now. It soon becomes clear, however, that Lucifer is intent on finding the book for his own means.

So I liked this book! It's full of action and the story about guardian angels is amazing! I never imagined angels living with earthly families, like changelings and then leaving. Well in this story, Vero is called out on a quest and pretty much has to beat Satan to it. It's his final test.

I received this book in exchange for an honest review.
When I received this book, I hadn't realized it was for such a young reader (I was expecting something along the line as Percy Jackson, but I would say this is targeted for readers 8-11 years old). Nevertheless, it was an enjoyable, quick read. While some of the phrases were eye-rolling for me (as a reader in my 20s), I would expect they would be humorous to a young child.
This is certainly not the next Harry Potter series, or Series of Unfortunate Event, but it is a good summer adventure for a pre-teen.
One of the things I had an issue with is the way Vero's mother treats him publicly in the early pages of the book. She wants her son to be "normal" but she throws him under the bus in one scene which almost made me put the novel down; I didn't feel like a mother accusing her son of cheating and plagiarizing was something that a child should read about.
I have since given the book to my younger cousin in hopes that it might make his summer a little better.
