This is a funny little picture book, where a group of men go on an adventure. The characters repeat in each picture, so it's a great book for following any individual character throughout the story. Some get up to quite a bit of mischief! The illustrations are interesting but not a favorite.

Fairly standard tale of African animal interaction with an endearing quirky streak. The image of the elephant plodding home to tell his wife he's arranged to have himself eaten is strangely poignant.½
