A very slight book. Vancouver's expedition is covered through a matter-of-fact account of the logs and there's not enough detail on the contemporary voyage to be able to make a meaningful comparison or conclusion. The edition I had lacked good charts or photographs, which would have been useful. The book/voyage was an interesting idea but the execution fails.
