I had no idea why the Vanguard 1 photograph showed an out of focus background of trees and at first I thought it might be a still from an early Dr. Who episode. It turns out that it is the illustration from the Wikipedia article which is a photograph of a model of the satellite so maybe it really is a still from a Dr. Who episode also.… (altro)

They are pretty tiny but they love food. They don't live in packs. They got their name due to their tail which has white rings on it. Their average life span is 7-9 years.

I found this book cool. It was fascinated by the fact whiskers can surround eyes and feet also. They are unique animals. I picked this book up because it said "miners cat".
