This Step One Step into Reading book, designed for ready-to-read Preschool and Kindergarten children uses large print, picture clues, and repetition to help very young readers begin to recognize words. Blue gives young readers three clues to help them decide what she wants to play.

The easily-recognizable character [from the Nickelodeon Jr. show] keeps the young child interested in the story; a double page of stickers at the end of the book keeps them involved beyond the reading.
