Mike Maguire

Written in the first person, can't remember when I last read a story I enjoyed written this way. I think it is more difficult to keep the story from becoming a long-winded brag by the main character than any other form of exposition. Tells us about growing up in the future, how civilization has polarized into castes and what it is like to be on the bottom rung, all of it is plausible and with only a little imagination scarily possible considering where our society is today. Recommend it highly!
