Great book for beginner readers moving onto their next level in reading. Helps understand that friendship is not only doing what both people like to do but also helping others when they need it or don't ask for help.
The kid and the Chameleon book 1 is best for children in grade 2-3. This book is about a girl who finds a chameleon and goes on adventures with her new chameleon. It is a very cute story.
This book would be great for 2nd to 3rd grade depending on individual students reading levels. It is an early chapter book that has a few pictures to help but also relies on text comprehension. It is about a young girl who finds a chameleon and is determined to be its friend. However, the two do not have much in common and do not like the same things. At the end of the story, they realized they don't have to like the same things to find something that is fun for both of them. There are a few books in this series, so if a student likes them, it can help them grow. Great for independent reading.… (altro)

2.This book goes through an adventure between a chameleon and a little girl. Each of them have their own talents and what they like to do. They learn that they really have nothing in common but that is okay.
3. I would have this book in my classroom and I would recommend you to as well. It is a good book to show that anyone can be friends even if they have nothing in common.
