This is a cute story about Tomas who lives in Ecuador and his day. He heads off on his beloved horse Bonito but falls off when the horse is startled by a wild dog. He hits his head and off to dreamland he goes. The book teaches us a little about Ecuador and the Galapagos Islands. It is short with some detail that will not cause young ones to lose interest. There are colourful illustrations with some detail. The only problem I had with this book was that the text was hard to read on some pages as it was printed over the illustrations. I think young children, especially those with a good imagination, will enjoy this story.

I received a copy of this book from netgalley in exchange for an honest reveiw.

This book goes through explaining the concept of matching things that go together. I enjoyed the book because it is a simple book, that also goes into things that one wouldn't think of when talking about matching. The book uses very simple words, and very few each page as well, for those reasons I would have per-school to kindergarteners read it.

BOBBY'S ZOO is a cute little practice reader that is at the first grade reading level.

The story is about a little boy whose house if full of animals. There is a lion, kangaroo, zebra and more, and these words actually constitute the most difficult part of the vocabulary; but given that the actual animals are in the drawings, most kids will realize that there is a hint there.

It has colorful artwork that presents the animals in a fun way, although at first Bobby seems very concerned about the critters running around his home. It ends on fun note when opens his own zoo.

Good practice reader. Good also for younger children as there are many animals that you can point to and name.
