Summer Brook Spring: Summer Brook Besties #1 di Lynne Lumsden Green
A nice story for young readers, it seemed a bit slight but that's because it's the first in a serial. The pacing is a bit off, since it abruptly goes from Freya's newfound contentment with Emma to her suddenly becoming homesick, but I suppose that happens with preteens. I like the vivid description of rural Queensland, and how it deals with culture shock, and overall it's a good start.

I sincerely thank the author,Lynne Lumsden Green for providing me a free copy in exchange for a honest review.I really loved reading through this book.It shows how a girl growing up in London feels and spends her time when she arrives in a remote place like summer brook.The way the author conveyed the feelings of Freya and her friendship with Emma is too real-like and wonderful.I got to know a few fun and knowledgeable facts too.. Illustrations in between were very refreshing. It'd definitely prove up to be a favorite children's book.… (altro)
