Ness and Scott's chance meeting is both enjoyable and tender. I loved how grown up she is even though she has lived her entire life almost like a hermitBuried secrets and memories are unearthed, family dysfunctions are uncovered, and resolutions must be found. This is a gripping, edge of your seat love story with a thrilling undercurrent.

I took a break from a great series and read When You Loved Me. I didn't love this story since most of it seemed far fetched. I did like the main characters love story which is where the 3 stars come in. I was happy to leave it behind and head back into my series.
