I was expecting a bit more in the way of facts and tales from local residents etc but i found the book a quick browse rather than an historical account of the town. Written or at least compiled by the ex mayoress i think a trick was missed here and there could have been a lot more substance and comments regarding the photographs. Background information etc.
For the real devotees of the town looking for an interesting photograph maybe this book would suffice, but for this ex pat it fell well short of the mark. Disappointing.… (altro)
