I usually enjoy World War II books set in the 1940s but this one was not one of them. It had so much potential but I just couldn't finish it. Again, I'm in the minority of not enjoying this book.

It just wasn't going anywhere for me.

Great story with interesting characters during the war in the 1940s. Starts off in a little village in China with a missionary girl being sent away to a safer place where she has never been. Loved it!!
