Her rejection hardens the pieces of his broken heart. Their life paths crisscross a few times in this book. Are they friends, lovers, strangers? The book kind of bogged down in the middle but was a skillful portrayal of young love. I found the constant change of point of view a little disconcerting. I am voluntarily reviewing an Advance Reader Copy of this book.
