Oh my god. From the start this poetry book had me hooked. The first poem itself struck me right in the heart. I was worried that it might go downhill from there, but it didn’t. In fact, it only got better. The poetry was beautiful and certain ones connected with me a lot, which I was not expecting because I had never heard of this author before, but I’m glad I know of her now because she truly is amazing. Without a doubt, this book deserves 5 stars.
