If you're sitting in a waiting room, this is the perfect book. Quick reads, and very wholesome. That said, the characters were underdeveloped and some of the passages were not very smooth. Perfect for new readers who enjoy a little clean romance.

I honestly didn't realize that this was a little collection of holiday stories. Which, it does say on the cover I just got distracted by how cute it sounded. And I'm glad that I went with my first feeling of just jumping into this one because it was so good. If you're looking for feel-good, clean, romantic, holiday stories then look no further! They were all short stories, so it was easy to sit and read one at a time. Even if I did want to sit and devour all of them at once.

Even though they were short stories, they all had really great characters and storylines and still managed to completely absorb my attention and have me completely involved until the end. All three of the stories had me wanting to read more about the characters for sure, which just really leads me to be a fan of this author and I will now be looking for more books by her. So if you're looking for a quick, sweet, and very Christmas-themed story, this collection is here to give you three!

Book 1, Maddie is bored and wants to help Detective Carson solve the diamond heist, already having a suspect in mind. The investigation is finding proof the ice factory manager committed the crime. There are character perspectives from Maddie, Mike, and Carson, so their insight into the case and each other are demonstrated to readers. This is an extremely short mystery story.

The stories are super cheesy and for me they’re a little too cutesy and unrealistic. The writing seems pretty juvenile and the characters are underdeveloped. I didn’t necessarily hate it, but it wasn’t my favorite by any means.

Mistletoe Magic: Clean Holiday Romance Collection, my fourteenth enjoyable read from author Daisy Landish, a trio of heartwarming holiday tales. Very different than her cozy mysteries I've read.
Clueless at Christmas the best of the three.
Christmas Surprise.
The Yuletide Thief.

This collection of short stories has potential as a feel good, Hallmark movie-type of holiday read. I was really looking forward to reading it around the holidays. Unfortunately, I was disappointed. Despite being a short story, the story line felt too rushed. There wasn't enough time for the type of character development needed in this kind of story. The timelines of the two characters didn't match and I felt disappointed in the story after reading. With more development, the stories could be really good.

Sat down to read three short feel-good romance stories; and was not disappointed. Skipping over the occasional grammatical errors (which to be honest could just be a throwback to which country it was written in) and inconsistencies in timeline, it was easy to just sit back, relax and let the ‘boy meets girl and lives happily ever after (in a matter of days)’ wash over you.
For those wanting an in depth story to get their teeth stuck into with all the various plots, intrigues and convoluted character building; look for another book on the shelf.
Would be recommended for the Young Adult (or young at heart) audience, before we get too old and cynical.
As it says on the book cover, it is a Clean Holiday Romance Collection. If this is what you are looking for, you will not be disappointed.½

Delightful story of a determined woman and a devilish man with a good heart whose ways cross most unexpectedly. Emily was attracted to a man who was a rogue so she wouldn't consider him as a suitor. A trip to town soon changed that as darkness fell. Sweet and charming story.

Received the eBook as part of Library Thing Early Reviewer for an honest review. I have struggled with this... well I was left with the "What the heck did I just read?" feeling'
Mistletoe Magic is/was a good quick read. Has potential. 3 short stories.

The first one needs to be re-edited.... big time. Whomever did the first edit needs to be fired. There are inconsistencies in the story - most glaringly that it is told from 2 different POVs and they don't match. First of all if you are taking a 4 hour drive from point A to point B and leave early in the morning there is no way that it's "already evening".... and even worse that you can actually see in the dark to walk 5 miles. Then one character talks about 4 days and the other pretty much sums it into 2 days - not clear. Ok so it's a Christmas "magic" story...ummm, sorry but neither 2 nor 4 days is enough time for a good romantic plot. Second story was longer and just draggish.. the characters just didn't really have depth. Then it went from drag to hurry up and finish the story. Build the characters up, put more background history and don't rush the ending.

The third - Robin Hood wanna be - that was more of an essay than story. Again, it was rushed and the characters weren't given enough background or depth.

I think if they took the time to actually redo add as needed give them a real plot and built the characters these stories can be "Hallmark" Christmas worthy.

A collection of three short holiday stories. All three plots seemed rushed and could have done more or simplified them slightly. I felt like there was not a lot of character development and often the story just ended. The last story was quite short and the ending was extremely abrupt and a bit ridiculous. These stories are perfect for someone looking for a quick, simple read.½

I'll start with saying this is a very quick read. It's three wholesome and clean Christmas short stories. If that is your thing, this is definitely the read for you. With that being said, the first story was rough for me, as it certainly requires another editing read through by the publisher and/or author. There were quite a few errors that took away my focus, on top of the extremely confusing timeline. One character talks about the course of 4 days, but the other character's perspective does not match the days nor the details. The second story was entertaining, but I felt the author realized it was going past "short story" and quickly ended it. I felt it was abrupt, which was a bit of a bummer. I was enjoying the interactions and dialogue between the two main characters. The third story was interesting and in a historical setting. I predicted the rest of the storyline and ending pretty quickly, but it was still a decent short story. If stories #2 and #3 were developed into novellas, I'd perhaps be interested in reading them and seeing the stories lengthened and developed.

I will be as kind as possible and say I did not enjoy this very much. I was a little surprised at the simplicity of the stories, including rather trite plot twists and a few typos. But having said that, there is an audience for the tried and true to be sure, so others might enjoy it.

Of the three stories, I would say the shortest and last was the most interesting, because of the historical setting.

For a short story it was quite entertaining. I enjoyed the main characters and a few of the others as well. With Frederick and Josephina not wanting to marry for convenience and two grumbling mothers it will be interesting to see how everything turns out! A delightful story! The narrator did a great job bringing this regency historical romance to love! It was a fast and easy listen!
