This book about why it's nice to visit old folks at the old folks home is maybe a bit literalminded and lacking in action, but probably if you're trying to convince your kids to visit the old folks home you shouldn't lead them to expect much action anyway.

Say hello Lily is a nice way to get shy little children to open up and shine. with encouragement of parents neighbors, Little Lily opened up and was encouraged in her desire to be an artist when Mrs. Rosenbaum gave Lily the beautiful drawing of flowers Lily always admired when she went to visit her.

Although shy at first, Lily becomes a regular voluntter at the Shalom House a "place for older people to live if they need extra help," and performs a mitzvah when she chooses to celebrate her birthday with the residents. (Preschool - Grade 2)
