The Life-Changing Magic of Tidying Up: The Japanese… di Marie Kondo

Love the concept and have already started implementing some of the KonMari principles, but this book must be taken with a grain of salt. I do not feel inclined to communicate with my house and my belongings the way Marie recommends. I do love her focus on being thankful, even if I'm not interested in thanking the actual items as if they had feelings.

The author, who means well, suggests I purge my life of all things that do not bring me joy. With apologies, I must begin with this book.

The Life-Changing Manga of Tidying Up di Marie Kondō

A delightful little quick read that gave me a quick review of the Marie Kondo method of tidying up.

* Don't rush into it
* Does it spark joy
* Start with the easy stuff (first clothes, books, ... sentimental value last)
* Bring everything (in the category) into one place
* Decide what to keep
* Store things standing up

It makes me want to get started.
