In the three basic stages of life: you’re born, you live and the you die; and while there’s nothing much you can do about the first or the last, the middle is the one you’ve got any control over.

But to survive and succeed in life itself you need to possess certain characteristics. These characteristics include, and not are limited to: being flexible in facing any event which might present itself with the capacity to deal with failures should they appear, possess a determination to succeed along with a compassion to those around as you endeavor to reach your goal. Needless to say, your ability to be creative plays important part in all that you attempt to do.

The author, Fuad A. Kamal, in writing this quite informative book not only gives his readers the bare facts and the usual how to achieve what you want in life; he provides viable, yet surprising sources where applicable information are found to help you better visualize what you need to do.

As one reads this book, the author confronts his readers with esoteric questions designed to have them do a self-examination, culminating with what achieving your goals might mean in your life.

For having written this informative and enlightening book, I’ve given this book and its author 5 STARS.

i won this book, my first win at goodreads! the description of it lead me to belive it was more than what it is. the short quote sections were ok, but i really didnt get the longer sections, which i guess are meant to help you be a better person. i'm really not into books like that.

so i give the book a fair rating of 3 stars. and i'm thankful to have won something, and will be donating it to my library. thank you!

I thought that, while short, this book was very thought-provoking. The author is extremely skilled at saying a lot in only a few words. This book was broken up into three different sections. The first section consisted of short passages, not very different from a quote-of-the-day type deal. The second section contained a few philosophical-type essays. The final section was short story fiction. Overall, a very good read.

The whole book struck me as if it was a teenager's diary. Someone who is thinks that they are being deep, but really has no life history or struggles to base anything profound on. There are some nice thoughts and ideas in here, but it all felt a little superficial to me. Don't get me wrong, I am a happy, peaceful person, but the whole thing struck me as trite.
