I get it, but it could have been much better. For the topics they discussed, they really wanted to avoid the permanence of a full stop in a way that was confusing. I suppose that's part of the point -- things like being a girl or dying of AIDS felt like a permanent full stop, until suddenly they weren't. I was given this book during my first year of my MFA because I told the photo professor that I was writing a book about friends. I wonder if the two writers are still friends, after the process of writing a book.… (altro)
