This was a fun beginning to what I hope is an enjoyable series. I liked a story about two strong men being vulnerable with each other.

This one was a let down. I didn't connect with either Ben or Jim.

Nice, a pretty standard friends to lovers story, set in an unusual location.

Gunner's quirkiness stands out.

I like the writing; it's neat and flowing; I'm already reading Grumpy Bear, and the writing is still just as easy to read.

Easy-to-read prose, well-built and recognizable characters. The contrast between an all-male yet sweet romance in the context of this funnily indecorous camp provides a truly original element. There are weak points in the plot towards the end, but they didn't undermine my story's overall enjoyment.
