This is an excellent simplified retelling of the Four Branches stories from the Mabinogion in basic Welsh, suitable for intermediate students. It is rated for 12 and up, but adult learners also seem to enjoy it. The book includes a key at the end of each chapter for new vocabulary introduced in that chapter and a cumulative vocabulary section at the back of the book. I have taught it twice in combination with grammar lessons and have enjoyed working with it. It would also be suitable for intermediate students working alone (as I was when I first read it).… (altro)
