Edward Humphreys

Battles fought in Canada or by Canadian forces from 1609 to the present battles in Afghanistan. This covers battles from the Wars of New France, the Seven Years War, the American War of Independence, 1812, 1837 Rebellions, the Fenian Raids, the North West Rebellion, the World Wars, and the post-war era. This is an large sized, interesting book on a subject which I used to think was dull. Lots of illustrations flesh out the stories. I would have appreciated a few more maps.
