Ian Holloway

OK, so I decided to read this book when Ollie, in his infinite wisdom, became the manager of the World's greatest football team (unfortunately, nobody has told the World!). I would, however, recommend this book to anyone interested in our national game.
It makes a refreshing change to read about a man who has plied his trade at the unfashionable end of football - until he came to Leicester, obviously. It is people like Ollie who will save English football by finding and cultivating young talent.
It is also fascinating to have confirmed the knowledge that football is not all glamour. Ian has had issues to deal with, both in the game and his private life. He covers them with a refreshing candor, that I wish I could use when examining my own life. If you get a chance to read this book, I would heartily recommend it.… (altro)
