I was quite enjoying this story until it all went south with Nick leaving. The book itself needed a good editor to deal with mistakes. I feel like the author wrote himself into a corner and didn't know how to wrap up the story. The ending was too neat. It's almost as if a different person wrote the last two chapters. Cathy was an absolutely unnecessary part of the story.

There was absolutely nothing endearing about Jamie.

A solid romance. I really enjoy more mature couples, dealing with kids and jobs, and in this case, grief, in such a responsible manner while still embracing the romance.

My criticism, and the thing that kept it from getting usual 5 stars from me, is that it just seems biphobic that the entire story was told without ever once saying the word "bisexual." It isn't... or shouldn't be... that weird to love a woman, and then love a man!

Cute take on the Santa lineage. It was a very short story, so there weren't a ton of details that could have made the story stronger, but there were enough details where I knew the basic story as it developed.
