This is a beautiful, heartwarming story that anyone who has lost a loved one would enjoy reading. Yolanda's mother has died and she does not understand where she went. Her mother told her, "If you look for me, my darling, you will find me." She starts asking everyone if they know where her mother is. The answers she gets help her to understand that even though her mother is no longer physically with her, she is in everything she sees, touches and does. A wonderful story to help deal with loss.
The illustrations show the emotions Yolanda is dealing with as well as the colourful memories depicted. They fit this story extremely well and the mix is amazing.
