This story was a great read, telling the story of Nanuk the polar bear as he tries to survive the arctic. The illustrations were well drawn out, it made me feel like I was there in the tundra. The plot was well thought out as well, introducing the polar bear, and a human hunter as they attempt to find some food. Near the end of the book, the human hunter attempts to kill Nanuk, but is unsuccessful. This proclaims that Nanuk, and other polar bears like him are still lords of the ice. The main message of the story is to keep the polar bear population up and maintaining respect for all polar bears.… (altro)
