Podcastle, #620: When Hope Is Lost, Touch Remains di Nin Harris
It opens with a woman able to feel more than the average person through her skin. We learn the reasons for this through the story, what she discovers accidently from this "inheritance" and how she decides to use it for good.

I had a hard time fully following along and there are some "breaks" in the visual story that aren't carried into the narration which I always find to be an issue. I've read a couple of stories by her this year and so far I don't think we are a good match. ymmv.
