January 2024 read: After reading this for the first time a few years ago, I blew through Guerre's backlist. I think this was either the first or second Heather Guerre book I read (either this one or Hot Blooded from the Tooth & Claw series. This book was originally released under her other pen name Ava Guerre and is the first book in the Indecent Proposals series). I still love this book and it’s an all time fave but the reread has me lowering one star.
