3434. The Kingfish and His Realm: The Life and Times of Huey P. Long, by William Ivy Long (read 18 Apr 2001) I read and enjoyed the standard bio of Huey Long by T. Harry Williams in July of 1970 but it looks far too kindly on the faults of the man. This book is a needed corrective. Since I've read quite a bit, both fiction and nonfiction, on Long, much in this book seemed familiar. But yet it was satisfying reading.
