Wanting and Having: Popular Politics and Liberal… di Peter Gurney
At first, I struggled with this book a little because I thought I knew more about Chartism and the 1830s and 1840s than I actually did and the book assumed its readers would know. But the later chapters, focusing on more specific aspects of the development of consumers in more detail, were easier to follow. Very interesting and lucidly written.
