If you are looking for a devotional with a biblical quote to focus on with each day or reading and thoughts about that particular quote this may not be the best option for you.
The author also starts a number of days/chapters with a paragraph that uses a lot of "I" statements, and it, at times, read as though these were prayers that the author himself prayed. With that in mind, some of the daily chapters begin with the author talking about Man's Church or Father Encounters - which if you do not identify with this - it might be difficult to get beyond.
For me, I read the devotional as it was one person's way of praying - mine might be different, but this showed me another person's personal way of praying.… (altro)
