A mid 1980s title, the studio shots can be dated by the fashions and the hairstyles of the time.
My favourite photographs from 1980s photography books are usually the ones taken on a beach. I think this is because the garish make-up and over-styled hair of the time are not usually so evident on the beach shots. This book is no exception, and my favourite photo is the one on page 130, of a largely shaded model sitting in the sea under a palm leaf. Worst photo? Page 183, the overweight ballerina. Which is there to illustrate that photographs don't always have to feature 'perfect' women.… (altro)
