However, his true love was is theater. He bounced back and forth from movies, theater, and tv but the bulk of his life was working live. Granger did stock theater, theater in Europe (his favorite country is Italy) and in New York City.
His encounters with Hollywood and New York actors and actresses are fun to read, there are glimpses at Judith Anderson, Bette Davis, Robert Walker, Shelley Winters and a whole host of others.
While I enjoyed the book, sometimes the narrative jumped around a little more than I would like. Still, it is an excellent glimpse into the world of movies, tv and theater.… (altro)
