An enthusiast of 19th-century English painting always welcomes a new study of a favorite understudied artist, and so it will be with this book. It could have been a little better done; the text is insightful, but the reproductions are a little smaller than they need to be, and the color-b/w mix is about a generation out of date. Watts' art will reward your time investment, however.
