Julie A. Gorman

Since 1984, Julie Gorman has taught at Fuller in the area of Christian Formation and Discipleship. Prior to being on faculty at Fuller, Gorman served 15 years as Pastor of Adults and Families and Small Groups in two churches in the Los Angeles area. She has authored Community that is Christian (including a second edition), Dialoguing As Christians, and numerous books on small group leadership; and was editor of Baker Books' The Dictionary of Christian Education. Gorman has also contributed chapters to significant texts on Christian education and had numerous articles published in the areas of teaching, building Christian community, and ministering to children and families. She is currently working on a textbook on transformational teaching.
