Modified arrangements of 21 classical melodies for piano, only two of which I didn't find enjoyable to play (Chopin's Funeral March and Wagner's Bridal Chorus--both overly common and kind of slow and snoreworthy in my opinion).

Most of the songs are great, though--especial favorites include Rimsky-Korsakov's Scheherazade and a Chopin Étude.

I found myself disagreeing with the suggested fingering pretty often. Since this book is only Level 3 of 6, I think this is a problem: at this level, I want to be able to trust the author's recommendations. I also thought it was strange that the pieces weren't arranged in order of difficulty.… (altro)
