Lee Glazer

We saw the Peacock Room during a trip to the Freer Gallery last fall. It looks as if they are planning to do something different with it. There were no pieces of porcelain on display. The room itself was beautiful but a far cry from the way it is depicted in this book.

Given that little is known about Charles Freer, I think this book did a good job of providing as much information as available about a wonderful art connoisseur and philanthropist. The pictures in the book are glorious. It is my favorite gallery in DC.
