This is the first book in the three novella set “The Curvies”, and it introduces the lovely Bree, Elise and Skyla, three best friends who like to enjoy life. As the title of the series suggests, this is a great read for all curvy women who love their bodies and are proud of who they are no matter what the world says.

Bree, Elise and Skyla grew up together on the same street and went to the same school. Their mothers were friends, so they continued the tradition and became inseparable. Now, at the age of 28, they all have their dream jobs but, unfortunately, they are also single. Elise is an artist and she has her own workshop, Skyla owns a coffee shop after she worked two jobs to be able to start her own business, and Bree makes a living by singing at parties and weddings. Of course, Bree would have liked to have a more spectacular career, but things didn’t work out very well when she tried her luck in New York. Now, she enjoys what she’s doing, but she feels like something is missing.

“Curve My Song” is full of laughs, sweet romance, and just a little drama to keep things interesting. Skyla knows what Bree needs: she needs to finally let someone in her heart. When Taylor Cole returns home after ten years, an old passion reignites between him and Bree. Will she decide to forget about her fears and vulnerabilities and allow him to make her happy? No matter what she decides, she knows that Elise and Skyla will always be by her side, supporting her.

Sarah Gai is amazing when it comes to character development. Readers will immediately fall in love with the three friends. They are loyal to each other, and nothing can break them apart. Bree, Elise and Skyla are the friends that any girl would like to have. And the fact that they are confident and feel amazing in their own bodies even though they are not exactly supermodels, is a great example for any woman who has never been skinny and suffered because of it. This story will be enjoyed by women of all shapes and sizes, as it encourages them to love themselves and let the world see them shine.
