WTF!
This read was going along fine, omegas in were stories aren't exactly my favourites but Dylan reminded me a little of Stiles *pauses* *thinks* (huh, I am so stupid) *headsdesk*
Anyway, so he wasn't a pathetic omega, I liked his spunk *cough, erm* and I liked the supernatural element.
Then the epilogue, which in itself want too bad although was a disappointingly massive time jump. Until the last sentence... Then any goodwill I had for this story disappeared.
I hate being manipulated to buy the next book... author you've just lost all my respect.

This review is for the advanced reading copy (ARC) of Honor, by Cait Forester and Brian C. Palmer.

Normally I don't read pure romance books, but I have to say that this book intrigued me. I could totally identify with the character of Martin, because in a way, I was him back in high school as well - just not bullied quite that extensively. But beyond that, I felt empathy for Taggart; it should have taken everything to win me over when it revealed what Taggart had done to Martin. But based on what he had gone through, and based on the little clues that the authors left throughout the beginning, I felt my heart going out to him.

Good things about the book included not just the storylines of Martin and Taggart, but also their shared history. Martin's brother from the army, Taggart's sister trying to get him to come out of being a hermit, and Aunt Janey; each little bit tied together with other facets of the story to make it a complete work.

There were just a couple of little aspects of the story that didn't sit well with me, but I think that has to do with personal preferences more than anything. But all in all, I really enjoyed the book.
