The perfect gift for any Apes aficionado, this beautifully illustrated book takes a look at all aspects of the POTA universe. The photographs in the book are quite impressive, especially those from the Tim Burton movie, the oft-forgotten stepson of the Apes family of movies. The chapter on the music was one of the standouts for me as the its a such a critical part of the Apes movies but often not written about. The most eye opening section was the chapter on the unproduced Apes films. Most of it I remembered, except for the sequel that would have included Heston; what a surprise that was! The texture of the cover is a wonderful detail and is just further proof that Titan Books are always quality publications.… (altro)
