Glory has suffered at the hands of her father for far too long and as her own personal hero her stepbrother Huxley is always swooping in trying to save the day. When they have to fix the issues now created by Glory this is more serious than just her acting out this is more of the lethal kind so acting on instinct Hux steps up to save the day only this time things may not be as easily saved as in the past. Hux and Glory are held in a cabin against their will by Ambrose who is a mysterious guy with darkness in him, yet there is this pull for all three of them that can’t be denied. As secrets and lies are slowly revealed can they work together to figure out what they should do next? Are things too out there for them to see the bigger picture? Who will save who? I know this review is vague but this book is one that is an experience for the readers. The content is dark and it does have triggers which are addressed before you dive in to read. A dark and twisted Hansel and Gretel vibe that has so many twists, turns, and shockers that it held me captivated until the very end.… (altro)
